Essential website functions
Security controls, research forms and staff sign-in use the information needed to operate those features. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.
Optional first-party measurement
Optional measurement is off by default. If you enable it using Privacy choices in the footer, we record coarse device class, page path, performance measurements and feature-use counts. We do not include your enquiry text, email address or advertising identifier in these measurements.
The live website dashboard adds consented public page views, high-level activity events and a random tab-session identifier. Only aggregate counts are published. Analytics never reads URL queries or fragments, form values or private order storage. Heartbeats do not count as page views. Session and event records are removed by daily maintenance after 90 days; the initial tracking-start timestamp remains to explain coverage.
Your device preference
Your measurement choice is stored locally on this device. Change it at any time using Privacy choices. Essential form and security operations remain available if you decline optional measurement.
External services
The contact page includes an OpenStreetMap area map. Loading that map contacts OpenStreetMap. Links to directions, WhatsApp and other external services take you to providers with their own privacy terms.
Optional visit preferences
If you enable optional measurement, the earlier measurement collector records whether this browser has visited before and whether the current tab has been counted. The enhanced visitor dashboard uses a separate random, short-lived tab-session identifier to group public page views and activity. It does not create a persistent person or cross-device identifier, and it is not used for advertising. Clearing browser storage resets this device history.
Browser storage used by IDER
ider-measurement saves your measurement choice in local storage. It remains until you change the choice or clear this site’s browser data. ider-previous-visit is created only after measurement is enabled and is removed when you choose Essential only or clear browser data.
ider-visit-measured uses session storage to count a visit once. ider-maintenance-hour uses session storage to avoid repeated maintenance requests within the same hour. These session values normally end with the browser tab or session.
ider-analytics-session-v1 is created in session storage only with optional measurement enabled. It contains a random session identifier and the most recent event time. The identifier renews after 30 minutes without a recorded event, normally ends with the tab, and is removed when you choose Essential only. It contains no contact, purchaser or payment details.
ider_staff_session is an essential staff sign-in cookie lasting up to eight hours. A temporary-password session lasts up to 15 minutes and permits password replacement only. The cookie is inaccessible to page scripts, restricted to same-site use and transmitted securely on HTTPS. Signing out removes it. Password changes, administrator resets and access changes invalidate earlier sessions.
Client portal sign-in is provided separately by the hosting identity service. Essential staff and client session controls do not depend on the optional website measurement setting. External services apply their own privacy and browser-storage arrangements.
ider-research-bag-v1 stores only the selected report slugs in local storage so your shopping bag survives a reload. It contains no purchaser name, email or payment details. Removing all reports clears the bag; you can also clear the site’s browser data.
ider-research-order-v1 uses session storage for this tab’s private international bank-transfer, Wise USD or card order session. Before the order is saved, it temporarily keeps the purchaser name and email, selected reports, chosen payment method, random request identifier and private order secret so a retry does not create a duplicate. After a successful save, only the private order credential remains. A private order-link fragment is removed from the visible URL and browser history after it is read. Closing the tab or clearing site storage may end this session. It never stores card details, bank or Wise sign-in credentials or wallet PINs. Card-return parameters are removed from the visible URL after they are read; the returned transaction identifier is held temporarily in page memory for verification and is not saved in browser storage. When the current store loads, it removes an older assisted-payment enquiry receipt from this session key rather than restoring it. Those historical receipts contain only a public enquiry reference, requested method, report titles and USD catalogue total, with no purchaser name, email or private access credential. Submitted enquiries remain on the server under the privacy notice’s enquiry retention arrangements.
Live-chat connection and browser storage
tawk.to is loaded only after you allow and open chat. The service may use cookies and browser storage to maintain the conversation and remember its session. Its own privacy and storage arrangements apply. The website’s chat permission is kept in the current page session; it is not treated as consent to first-party measurement or advertising.
To stop the connection, use “Stop chat and reload this page” in Privacy choices. The next chat connection requires a new choice. You can separately remove vendor cookies through your browser settings; this does not erase server-side conversation records. Staff and client workspace routes do not load the public chat widget.
