Annual inflation is not the same measure as a particular month’s year-on-year inflation. World Bank population estimates and GSS population projections have different source methods; they are not interchangeable. No annual 2026 estimate is substituted for a published observation.

Definitions, sources and interpretation

GDP at current prices, originally in current US dollars and divided by 1,000,000. Values reflect price, real-output and exchange-rate changes.

Source: World Bank World Development Indicators API, dataset updated 13 July 2026 and retrieved 19 September 2026. GDP values are converted from US dollars to US$ million; trade balance is exports minus imports (% of GDP) from the same source vintage. The dataset covers 2019–2025. Ghana and Nigeria have no published 2025 trade values in this source; their last available year remains visible. Missing values are never replaced with forecasts or zeros.

National aggregates inform initial screening; they do not replace customer, sector, financial or project-level research. Nominal GDP movements must not be interpreted as real GDP growth.
