Integrity & responsible research

Client confidentiality

Confidentiality should be defined at the beginning of an assignment and carried through collection, analysis, reporting and transfer.

Agree the terms

Before sharing restricted material, ask us to agree the scope, permitted recipients, handling arrangements, retention requirements and any non-disclosure terms. An initial enquiry does not establish a project contract or a separate non-disclosure agreement.

Control access and disclosure

Our standard is to share client information only with authorised people for an agreed purpose, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations and any lawful disclosure requirement. Client identities, logos, attributable testimonials and assignment details should be published only with permission.

Use the appropriate channel

Public enquiry forms are intended for initial project discussions. Do not submit confidential research datasets or sensitive participant records. Where available, an attachment is held in private quarantine until its security check is verified; it is not a substitute for an agreed project data-transfer arrangement.

Client access

The client workspace provides signed-in access to resources that IDER has expressly published to the email address associated with the client’s account. Only documents that have passed the required security check are available for download. Contact your IDER project representative to agree which files should be shared, the permitted users and any project-specific transfer requirements.
