Executive leadership

The Executive Director is responsible for institutional strategy, research leadership, client relationships, delivery oversight and financial stewardship. Practice Directors translate the client’s decision into the right research design and a clear interpretation of the evidence.

Governance and independent challenge

Governing oversight addresses strategic direction, institutional integrity and financial accountability. Quality-assurance responsibility should be independent of day-to-day delivery where the assignment requires additional technical challenge. Significant ethical concerns, conflicts and confidentiality issues are escalated to executive leadership.

Shared services and accountability

Research Operations coordinates fieldwork, scheduling and delivery. Data and Digital Systems oversees data quality, access and reproducibility. Client and Corporate Services coordinates client communications, proposals, finance and administration. Data-protection and ethics responsibilities are assigned explicitly for each study.

Personnel conduct and safeguarding oversight

IDER’s PSEA policy sets a zero-tolerance approach to sexual exploitation and abuse, conduct standards and protection against retaliation. The related procedures define recruitment screening, training requirements, reporting, investigations and survivor support. These responsibilities apply across research practices and project teams.
