Evidence, expertise and practical decisions

Local Implementation Partnerships

Translate a common study design into credible local field delivery.

Where collaboration creates value

Implementation planning covers stakeholder access, local-language instruments, recruitment, training, pilots and supervision. A country plan should explain how the team will reach the population, identify exclusions and document departures from the agreed design.

  • Confirm sampling frames and realistic access conditions.
  • Use standard instruments with documented local adaptations.
  • Escalate field risks and data-quality concerns through an agreed reporting line.

Agreeing an assignment

Submit a partnership enquiry with the lead organisation, end client or donor, opportunity reference, country, deadline, expected duration and scope required from IDER. Proposed participation remains subject to a review of expertise, resources, conflicts and commercial terms.

Delivery and quality responsibilities

A partnership work plan should allocate research design, field supervision, data management, analysis, review and client communication. Confidentiality, subcontractor controls, acceptance criteria and escalation arrangements should be agreed before work begins.
