About IDER

Methodological depth. Decision-level clarity.

We choose methods for the decision, the evidence gap and the practical conditions of the market. A strong research design combines appropriate data with a transparent analytical plan.

Quantitative research

Business, customer, household and institutional surveys can be implemented through in-person CAPI, telephone or online approaches. Sampling frames, eligibility, non-response, weighting and precision are defined for the study.

  • Descriptive and inferential statistics; panel-data analysis
  • Econometric modelling and forecasting
  • Experimental and quasi-experimental evaluation where appropriate
  • Geospatial analysis; market sizing; demand and pricing analysis

Qualitative research

Key-informant and in-depth interviews, focus groups, case studies and stakeholder consultations explain behaviours, incentives and implementation realities that numbers alone may miss. Customer-journey mapping, participatory research, institutional analysis and political-economy analysis are selected where relevant.

Financial and economic analysis

Integrated financial models connect revenue, costs, working capital, capital expenditure and financing. The appraisal may test net present value, internal rate of return, payback, break-even and debt-service capacity. Economic cost-benefit analysis considers wider resource costs and benefits separately from project cash flows.

Digital research and reproducibility

Mobile data collection, remote monitoring, validation rules, GIS, statistical programming and dashboards make evidence more traceable. Versioned data and documented transformations support review. AI-assisted evidence review, where used, remains subject to expert validation and agreed information controls.
