Practical procedure

Ask about the personal information IDER holds and how it is used.

• Contact info@iderafrica.com with the subject Privacy request.
• Describe the information or processing concerned and the action requested.
• Provide only enough information to locate the record; do not send identity documents by default.
• IDER may request proportionate identity verification through an agreed secure channel.

Assessment and response

Requests and consent arrangements are assessed in the relevant study and legal context. The responsible privacy or research lead should record the request, applicable obligations, response and any lawful reason a requested action cannot be completed. Study-specific information should identify contacts and the applicable rights before data collection.

Raise questions through the contact page or write to info@iderafrica.com. Research concerns should include the study reference where available. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in an initial enquiry.
