Read the assignment and source recordAssignment objective
Collect household data for the Ghana National Household Registry (GNHR) to inform social-protection targeting and planning in Ghana’s North East Region.
Research approach
IDER recruited and trained local-language field teams, coordinated community engagement and supervised household visits using GNHR tablets and the Proxy Means Test questionnaire.
Coverage
The final report records 92,022 households enumerated, comprising 534,941 household members, across six districts. This represented approximately 89% of the revised household target.
Analysis
MIS and quality assurance teams reviewed records and coordinated corrections with enumerators and GNHR. A separate QA snapshot records 91,286 households approved and accepted by GNHR.
Deliverables
Digital household registration records, quality assurance feedback, periodic progress reporting and a final report on field operations, challenges and lessons.
Client value and evidence limits
The assignment supplied household evidence for registry-based decisions and documented operational lessons for subsequent registration exercises. The report does not establish downstream programme impacts.
Confidentiality
This summary presents aggregate findings. Household identities, ID details, locations and individual records remain confidential; the full report is not published here.
